  • Permanent full-time/Part-time employment opportunities for psychologists with Full APRAH registration and ability to apply for a Medicare Provider Number

  • Subcontractor Opportunities for Psychologists with Full Registration and an ABN

  • Paid employee roles for experienced Provisional Psychologists who are registered with APRAH

expectations

  • Passion and or genuine interest in working in the disabilities sector

  • All registration requirements met for your current career level

  • Proficient report writing skills

  • Ability to work with multiple stakeholders

  • Case formulation and treatment planning skills

  • Proficiency with individual, group and family therapies

  • Parent and Carer skill training

  • Psychometric assessment training and experience

  • Experience working with children, adolescents and their families

  • Experience or passion for working with individuals living with a disability

  • Ability to communicate within a multidisciplinary team

  • Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently

  • Experience in the use of evidence based interventions

  • Eligible to be registered with APHRA, and Medicare and have public indemnity insurance

  • Collaborate with fellow team members and other work groups to deliver routine mental health services

  • Participate in the development of discipline specific treatment programmes for consumers with specific diagnoses

  • Apply increasingly independent clinical judgement and evidence-based practice under clinical practice supervision

  • Work collaboratively with non-government and other government agencies to provide appropriate health services for people who live with disabilities
