Therapy & Fees

Individual psychological evidence-based practices to explore your feelings, thoughts and behaviours that are challenging the individual. Together the individual and the psychologist explore multiple factors that shape an individual’s life experience, behaviours, their values and their understanding of who they are and how they relate to others. Psychological therapy supports a process of change in identified challenging behaviours support improved and healthy daily functioning. 

We use different methods of evidenced based therapies including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, psychodynamic therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, motivational interviewing narrative therapy and Family systems therapy.

We also use animal therapy.

What to expect

Before your appointment

  • Please fill out intake forms (online coming shortly)

  • Read confidentiality agreement

  • Sign Financial Services Agreement

  • Please bring all relevant documentation GP/Paediatrician/Psychiatrist referral, any other relevant reports and documentation.  You can email ahead of time… email now

Stage 1. Intake 

During these sessions, I will ask you further questions about the information on the intake form with the goal of obtaining a full picture about yourself, your current issues and your strengths. We will also discuss your reason for referral. 

Stage 2. Goal setting and Treatment Planning 

During these sessions, we will collaborate on understanding your issues. We will discuss and agree to appropriate treatments plan and set goals for treatment. 

If you are with the NDIS, we will also review and incorporate your NDIS goals into treatment planning

Stage 3. Treatment.

These sessions will be individually tailored to suit your requirements.

Stage 4. End of Therapy.

As your therapy draws to a close, we will help you to prepare for this process by assisting in developing your connection with family, friends and wider community and other allied health and medical supports.

Referrals and Fees for Therapy

Standard Counselling Private Fee - $150 (counsellor, counselling student or provisional psychologist)
Standard Medicare Fee $225 per hour 

NDIS Counselling -  $156.16
All other NDIS consultations are $222.99 per hour

Full Comprehensive Assessment- (Private) $2490
