Jessica Woodward

Jessica “Jess” is a qualified, early career provisional psychologist who works with adults, adolescents, children and families. She is passionate about supporting others to develop helpful coping strategies and build resilience. Jess has experience in administering functional and cognitive assessments as well as screening for mental health conditions.

Jess has years of experience working in the public and private sectors. She advocates for and supports families and individuals to make positive changes in their lives, and has supported many people to do so whilst working in child protection, disability services, training, and research roles.

The practice framework and modalities that Jess uses are Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-based techniques, interpersonal relationships and the therapeutic alliance. She is a member of the Australian Association of Psychology Inc. (APPI).

Areas of interest for Jess include personal wellbeing and empowerment, working with adolescents, mental health, trauma, and ADF families.

Provisional Psychologist

Max Stoneman

My name is Max and I’m a provisionally registered psychologist. I am currently completing my Master of Professional Psychology at Griffith University. I am interested in all things Psychology, from cognitive assessment to individual therapy, to group therapy.

During my time here at Redefini, I hope I can refine my skills and create relationships that can prosper. My priority is the relationship I share with my clients, I believe with positive relationships we see greater progress toward our shared goal.

Personally, I spend my downtime with Matilda, my dog, and watching sitcom TV. I look forward to meeting you and assisting in any way I can.

Sarah Hibbard Haines

Sarah is a provisional psychologist who is interested in providing assessment and therapy across the lifespan. 

She graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Science (Honours) and is currently completing her Master of Professional Psychology at Griffith University.

Sarah has a warm and empathetic approach and focuses on working collaboratively to address each client's individual needs. In her spare time, Sarah enjoys playing indoor soccer and running around with her dog.

Robert Wilesmith

Hello, my name is Robert, I use he/him/his pronouns and identify as part of the LGBTIQA+ community. I am a qualified provisional psychologist working with individuals and families.

My experience has been able to support those with different levels of needs from young children to older adults. I have supported families and individuals from the LGBTIQA+ community, trauma, child protection, alcohol and other drugs, and disability.

I am very passionate about being able to support anyone with my warm person-centred strength-based approach with being able to provide growth within yourself.  I am trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT). I am an Australian Association of Psychology Inc. (APPI) member.

My area of interest includes the LGBTIQA+ community, first nations people, trauma (including dissociative identity disorder), and integrating group geek therapy.

Deeanna Gough - Psychologist & Board Approved Supervisor - Managing Director

Deanna “Dee” is a qualified psychologist who works with children, adolescents and families throughout all stages of developmental challenges. She focuses on empowering children and families to connect through all stages of life change. 

Dee uses a range of evidence based therapeutic practices including: Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment (ACT); Family Systems, interpersonal relationships, narrative, mindfulness and solution-focused treatment. 

Specialisations

She has a particular passion for working with Spectrum families and individuals with disabilities across the all ages. She provides tailored interventions to support the needs of the client and their families. 

Deanna is also a qualified Animal Therapist and where possible incorporates her animals into therapeutic practice.
